NFT Artist Interview: Shavonne Wong

Shavonne Wong is an award-winning fashion photographer with 10 years of experience under her belt. Having started out as a self-taught photographer armed only with passion, a diploma in IT and a dash of stubbornness, Shavonne started her photography career from scratch to what it is today. She is now an ambassador (X-Photographer) for Fujifilm, a writer for one of the largest photography community websites globally, Fstoppers, and was also recently included in the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list for 2020.

Although based in Singapore, she has also built up an international portfolio having shot in London, New York, Israel, Hong Kong, Philippines as well as Indonesia. No one day is ever the same for Shavonne as she constantly hones her skills working with clients such as Sephora, Lancôme and Cosmopolitan HK.

You might also have caught her on TV as a returning guest photographer on Asia’s Next Top Model. When she’s not busy on set, you can find Shavonne conducting photography workshops and mentoring budding photographers.

The most recent milestone for her was the opportunity to shoot with TV show Pose’s Billy Porter which was distributed by Vogue Global Network and all Vogue publications around the world! She has also gotten to work with such as Netflix Riverdale’s Rob Raco, Doctor Sleep’s Chelsea Talmadge and in Singapore, our very own Tan Kheng Hua.
