We aim to create intriguing and personalized characters within the universe of ‘The Nest’ while building a fun-loving community and establishing a fund for development of the game’s story mode.
The Nest NFT series will first launch the Crowfolk collection with 999 unique and mischievous Crowfolk available for purchase on Solana.
Every Crowfolk holder will have access to all game builds throughout the process and will receive the game upon public release (on steam for example).
The most loyal and active members of the crowmunity will be rewarded with upgrade opportunities (both statistical and aesthetical) for their future Crowolk NFTs. These opportunities will come in the form of ‘Vial’ NFTs which can be spent on their mint, thus improving their crowfolk but ‘burning’ their vial.

How did you come up with the ideas?
Ross A Campbell, the lead artist is a well-known colorist, and worked for some big names in the industry like DC Comics. He decided he wanted to pursue his dream of one day developing a game, and began working on the handmade, 2d platformer he would call The Nest. Crowfolk are characters within The Nest, and they help the 2 main protagonists, Red & Blue, shelter from a life-changing storm that shattered their existence.
What Makes this project unique?
Crowfolk has amazing art. The characters are drawn, inked and painted by a 10-year comic book pro with past experience in NFTs. Each crowfolk is of the highest quality with a clean cut style and vibrant color palette. If nothing below tickles your fancy, this is reason enough.
Crowolk have unique and quirky names alongside a moniker to hint at their separate personalities. You can expect that ‘Caldwell the Deranged’ isn’t going to be easy to get along with. Additionally each crow has a unique set of skill points for a number of abilities.
Crowfolk proceeds will be used to fund development of ‘The Nest’, a beautifully hand-drawn 2D puzzle platformer designed to invoke all the heart-warming nostalgia of our brave and bold bygone gaming adventures of our childhood. Your crowfolk will give you an edge in the competitive mode with all those extra skill points!

Are there any mechanics we should know about?
Crowfolk discord manages the Acorn Economy where users govern themselves by appointing Councilmen and Magistrates weekly to reward outstanding members of the community and police the unruly. The more Acorns you gather, the more ‘Vial” purchases you can make and the more in-game currency will be credited to your crow.
Crowfolk offers a swathe of companion NFTs to alter or upgrade your mint the more you connect with the community. From ‘Skill Vials’ to add a skill point to your mint or a ‘Corrupted Vial’ to cosmetically change your default crow to a deformed crazy, opportunities abound for customization and these can be collected as soon as.
