The Arties Cosmic Robot Club was launched 10 November 2021.
The Arties are a collaboration between Open Art Source, Shaderverse, and NFT artist Spencer Terry. The project is funding the tech development of the Open Art Source platform, which brings a blockchain data layer to the physical art market. Open Art Source and Shaderverse came together in the Stacks Accelerator this past year, and Spencer built the design on animation projects he developed in the past.
What Makes this project unique?
The Arties are the first 3D NFT project on Stacks, and they’re attached to specific benefits on the Open Art Source platform. For instance, all Artie holders will have subscription fees waived in perpetuity. Also, Shaderverse has developed AR 3D game-ready assets for each Artie in the collection, and these assets will be sent to Artie holders for Christmas/Chanukah.
How Big is the team and what are their roles?
Shaderverse is a partnership between Michael Gold and Michael Ronen, and Open Art Source is co-founded by Ilan Klein and Cecil Pang, as well as a development team. Spencer Terry is the artist, and he works provides Shaderverse with the Blender assets, which they compile and render.
What is the price?
98 STX: Arties pack a lot of value for their utility in the Open Art Source ecosystem. And in addition to the 3D game-ready assets, Arties holders will also receive an Arfie (robo-dog) NFT after they’ve held their NFTs for a year. Since Open Art Source has the technology to attach NFTs to physical objects, there will also be NFT-specific items for expanding each unique collection.
What is the Mint Size?
2,500 for the current mint. In the future, after the platform launches, users will be able to purchase additional Arties. The collection will never be larger than 11,111, and the price will never again be as low as 98 STX.
What utility do these NFTs have?
They’re the most charming NFTs out there, but when you buy an Artie, you get more than just a valuable NFT and eye-catching profile pic. You get:
A DISCOUNT
A discount on Open Art Source platform fees. As long as you keep the Artie, you’ll pay $0 to use the revolutionary blockchain art marketplace.
EXCLUSIVE EVENTS
If you own a rare laser-eyes Artie, you’ll get invited to exclusive events to meet artists who are active on the platform.
A PET?
If you hold your Artie for one year, we’ll send you an Arfie NFT (Artie’s robotic pet dog). Your long-term commitment shows you’re responsible enough for a pet!
WHITELIST BENEFITS
Those who participate in the whitelist sale will be able to purchase an unlimited number of Arties. Public sale participants will be limited to 10 Arties.
ARTIES AS DEFI COLLATERAL
We’re working with ALEX.go to have Arties accepted as collateral on DeFi transactions on the Stacks blockchain.
CURATED ART SHOWS
If you hold an Artie, and you’re an artist, you will be given the opportunity to participate in curated art shows held by Open Art Source. Just by having an Artie, you will get invitations to those events.
PARTICIPATION IN OAT PRIVATE SALE
When you own an Artie, you’ll receive an invitation to participate in the Open Art Token (OAT) private sale. Open Art Source will launch its own token called Open Art Token as part of its marketplace. People who own Arties will receive an invitation to pre-buy OAT at a 10% discount before the public sale.
