Yuga Labs has teased the next series of events in the Trial of Jimmy on their official website. The announcement shows that there are four new events in the pipeline: Lick the Toad: Get Trippy, Mech Types Reveal: Collection Info, It Came Through the Rift: Evo 1 Reveal, and Journey to EVO 2: Time to Play. The start dates for each event range from late February to May. It’s important to note that February 8th is the last day for Sewer Pass holders to secure their score.
The most notable aspect is the duration of score validation. The team seems to be opting to validate scores after the game has been completed, meaning that anyone who cheated will have their score reset and will not be able to claim the rewards of playing fair. This has led to various speculations, such as the possibility of the “lick the toad” event being related to the Gremplin Project Cryptoadz that was previously seen in a trailer for “the otherside.” There are also questions about a potential partnership or acquisition by Yuga Labs. Additionally, the upcoming reveal of new Mech Types has added to the excitement in the ecosystem over the next few months.
