Hello Sunshine, the company created and founded by Reese Witherspoon, will be partnering with NFT project World of Women, she announced today on her Twitter. Big, exciting news for all parties involved, and what does this mean exactly?
Let’s start with Hello Sunshine – Witherspoon’s female led brainchild. Her media company is solely focused on women, and putting them at the core of all content. Through this site, you are introduced to books, film, tv series & podcasts- all female centered. Hello Sunshine has focused on bringing stories such as The Morning Show and soon, Where The Crawdads Sing to the spotlight. They have given opportunities for women’s narratives to be heard.
World of Women minted July 2021, and had a steady rise to success. The project mooned even higher when female celebrities and influencers began showing their praise for the project on outlets such as twitter and instagram. The collection of 10,000 currently has a floor price of 10.35, and has a second project coming sometime in 2022. WoW has been focused on raising awareness for women and their stories, and it’s no surprise they seem to share the same ethos as Hello Sunshine. A match made in heaven.
One of the earliest and loudest celebrities to make their love of this project known was Witherspoon. She praised the project for its boundary pushing, all inclusive nature, and whispers of a collab began circling the metaverse. In today’s post, Witherspoon highlights Hello Sunshine’s partnership with World of Women, as well as their founder and artist, Yam Karkai. She shares specifics about the partnership, including films, tv series, live events and “powerful stories”. The aim is to continue focusing on women, give them a voice, educate newcomers to the space, and do so from a powerful media platform. Sky’s the limit here, and I’m bullish.
