Blvck Paris is a French fashion label created by designer, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. The company has been in operation since 2013 and has a strong following in the hip hop community.

In an interview with Fashionista, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac discusses how he came up with the idea for Blvck Paris: “I was looking for a name that would be memorable and I found this word ‘blvck’ that I thought was perfect because it’s not just black, it’s also red.”

De Castelbajac owns and operates the company with his son, Laurent. Laurent graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City and is currently working as the creative director at Blvck Paris.
