VeVe NFTs are Growing Like Crazy
Periodically, we like to speculate about future NFT drops. As VeVe continues their massive growth by creating augmented reality (AR) NFTs with series 1 launches around Ghostbusters, and Back to the Future, we started looking into their back catalog to see what cool NFTs may be coming next. There are a ton of options available and I suspect they’ll likely leverage their Mobile friendly ecosystem to appeal to kids and teenagers and may stick with kid-friendly IP, but it would be really awesome if they created some James Bond inspired NFTs.
The pseudo futuristic IP would give VeVe and James Bond inspired NFTs a lot of room. From classical devices created by Q, to the classic cars, villains, and even Bond actors, the James Bond Universe could be a massive watering hole as the NFT realm continues to expand. We’ve discussed the Ready Player One potential in a myriad of posts, but depending on how VeVe leverages these IPs, I could see a future of augmented reality where Batman and Pierce Brosnan’s James bond are riding together in the DeLorean to chase the Stay-Puft Marshmellow Man.
Previous drops have been a cash cow for VeVe and universal Pictures. The Delorean Drop for example featured 3 items in the first Back to the Future Series 1 Drop:
DeLorean Time Machine NFT

James Bond NFT for No Time to Die
As the 2021 film nears release this October and NFT adoption continues to grow. Universal may be in the perfect position to test out James Bond inspired NFTs on the VeVe platform. Like many other platforms, we suspect that VeVe will figure out the bugs that hinder their ability to scale and will continue to increase the frequency of drops. The good news is they have a large backlog of IPs that will allow them to produce NFTs with regularity but without over leveraging a given IP type. Right now, we just want our Jurassic Park NFTs to become available.
