What made you pursue NFT art?
I believe the idea of digital ownership provided by NFTs is the answer to many of the problems that artists and creators have faced in the internet for decades. I want to be a part of this revolution, and help it happen.
What is the one piece of NFT art you wish you had purchased but missed out on?
A grail Fidenza right after minting
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?
Antarctica
What is the projects launch date?
- Wednesday, March 2nd
How did you come up with the ideas?
I’ve been working on this feature film for over 2 years, writing the script and developing the production (cast, crew, locations etc). With everything in place for this film that I believe will be great, I’ve found it incredibly hard to fund it through the traditional European indie film funding routes. So, having been in the NFT space since Feb21, and having observed all that can be achieved with Web3 and the power of community, I decided this could be a great opportunity to be able to make the movie by harnessing the power of community and finding an innovative way to approach crowdfunding. And I believe this will be the way of the future for many indie filmmakers.
What Makes this project unique?
We are only the second fiction feature film ever funded with NFTs, and the first European project to do so. It’s also quite unique that the feature comes from an award winning short film that is a proof of concept and has allowed us to create an amazing collection of 1/1 NFTs in order to fundraise the movie, giving our community the chance to both be a part of the journey of making the movie, and also collect a unique and super special NFT.
How Big is the team and what are their roles?
There’s like two teams I guess, one for the NFT project and one for the movie, this one being still in formation. Butt hey also collide:
Miguel Faus – Founder / Writer+Director
Jim Cummings – Executive Producer
Chase Crawford- Co-Execute Producer
SHILLR – Marketing Advisors
