12 May 2022 – GAMEE, the play-and-earn casual mobile gaming subsidiary of Animoca Brands, today announced that it has opened up Arc8 for partners to add play-and-earn utility to their tokens in the form of Arc8 tournament rewards. Partners provide their tokens to the prize pools of games in the Arc8 mobile application, and will be featured within the app. Interested projects can now apply at https://www.gamee.com.
The first partner to join Arc8 is QuickSwap, which will reward winners of select Arc8 tournaments between 12 and 15 May 2022 with QUICK tokens.
Arc8, available on the App Store and Google Play, is GAMEE’s play-and-earn mobile gaming platform with 12 live games, including Asteroids in collaboration with Atari and Man City Striker in partnership with Manchester City FC. Arc8 runs game tournaments that offer crypto rewards to winners. GAMEE tokens (GMEE) are used to get access to Arc8’s games and tournaments, although some are free-to-play.
Opening up Arc8 to partners and their token is another step in the evolution of the Arc8 gaming platform into the “arcadeverse”, a virtual casual gaming space that connects players, brands, and game creators. With the GMEE token at the core of the experience, Arc8 is becoming a platform for projects to add play-and-earn utility to their token and showcase their brands.
