Palm enters the NFT Space with funding from top Crypto Investors
Today, there’s another NF T ecosystem that has been announced. Palm is a token based ecosystem for NF T’s which is connected to Eth they promise low gas fees and fast transactions and 99% more efficiency than other proof of work systems. This is an interesting take. As more organizations start to highlight the environmental challenges associated with cryptocurrency tokens and NF T’s POM is actively developing resources around these projects, including a myriad of disciplines and partners, including uniswap protocol labs Metamask, and more.
A number of large investors, known for leading in the crypto currency and blockchain space, introduce Palm as an innovative lab setup to collaborate with marketplaces and artists, allowing rights holders to bring their projects and platforms to the palm ecosystem. This joint venture is allowing organizations and accomplished teams who have been successful in fine art and filmmaking, to combine with these digital technology experts to revolutionize how NF T’s are made. The first big artist that will drop is Damien Hirst‘s the currency project which is 10,000 works on paper that are going to be tied to corresponding NF T’s.
According to Hirst. He has been working for three plus years trying to plan how or when he will watch this NFT project, but he was looking for a great place to launch this project and cited pome as the best resource.
As with the other NFC marketplaces, we plan to watch this announcement closely, and as we learn more about them, we will definitely keep our readers, up to date, but we look forward to learning more about this, as it becomes available.
